Menengai Oilers have confirmed their match-day squad for their Kenya Cup opener against Daystar Falcons on Saturday at the Nakuru ASK Grounds, Nakuru at 4:00 p.m.
The front row features former Kabras RFC trio Victor Were anchoring at loosehead, Fortune Aturo at hooker, and tighthead Destrous Ifedha. Ibrahim Ayo starts at lock alongside Charles Osgood.
In the back row Jadah Abdon is at blindside after missing last season due to an injury, Amos Obae, who will serves as co-captain is at openside, and Elkeans Musonye completes the loose trio at No. 8.

The halfback pairing sees Clarkson Keegan play at scrum-half, linking up with Samuel Nwaura at fly-half. The midfield pairing has Samuel Ovwamu facing his former side at inside centre and Philip Okeyo on the outside, marking his first-ever Kenya Cup start for Oilers. Okeyo joined the side from Nakuru RFC mid this year.
The back three has Alvin Khavoli, Daniel Kipchirchir on the opposite wing and Abutwali Wesonga at fullback.
Oilers have also loaded their bench with impact options. Celestine Mboi, Bruce Endowo, Wallace Onyango, Agwings Owino, Samson Onsumu,and Lucky Owino.
