The Kenya Lionesses technical bench has unveiled a 13-player squad for the upcoming Rugby Africa Women 7s, featuring four changes from the team that took part in the Safari 7s tournament.

Head Coach Simon Odongo has retained the core of the side but introduced new faces and strategic adjustments as the Lionesses gear up for continental duty.

Nine players have kept their places from the Safari 7s squad, including senior figures Sheila Chajira, Janet Okello, and Freshia Awino, who will all play crucial leadership roles. Chajira and Okulu have been named co-captains, while Okello takes up the vice-captaincy.

Other consistent performers like Naomi Amuguni, Moreen Muritu, Christabel Lindo, Sinaida Nyachio, Edith Nariaka and Faith Livoi also retain their spots.

The squad welcomes Nelly Chikombe, Phoebe Akinyi, Grace Okulu currently based in France and Ann Namunyak, who come in to strengthen key areas.
