Mwamba RFC Ladies have retained the Impala Floodlit title after defeating Impala Roans 44–11 in the final staged at Impala Club on Saturday afternoon.
This was a repeat of the 2024 final, but unlike last year, when the final was not played following Impala’s last-minute withdrawal, the match was held this time, bringing together two of the best women’s teams in the country.

The two sides had also met earlier in the year during the Kenya Cup final in April.
Mwamba came into this clash looking to start their 15s campaign on a high, having enjoyed success in the previous 15s season and also clinched the 7s title.

In the final, Mwamba took a commanding 17–3 lead at halftime following three tries, one of which was converted, while Roans managed a single penalty.
The second half saw Mwamba run riot, adding 27 more points and conceding only eight to emerge champions once again.
