Kevin Wambua has named his Kenya Morans squad for the Zambezi Challenge 7s scheduled for Saturday and Sunday in Harare.
The squad retains seven players who featured in the Morans side that finished third at the Safari 7s last month.
The returning group includes captain John Okoth, Brian Mutua, Clinton Amukwachi, and youngsters Rayvone Ambale, Daniel Kipchirchir, and speedster Victor Mola Odhiambo.
The coach has further strengthened the team with the inclusion of Kenya 7s flyer Floyd Wabwire and Gabriel Ayimba, who represented Shujaa at the Safari 7s.
Other Shujaa players in the squad include Dennis Abukuse, Crissant Ojwang, and youngster Jackson Siketi.
Kenya Morans opponents
In Harare, the Morans will face strong competition, including hosts Zimbabwe, who are expected to field both their main and second teams, as well as Zambia, Botswana, and South African franchise sides.
This will be the Morans’ third outing of the season, following a fourth-place finish at the Africa Men’s 7s and a third-place result at the Safari 7s.
