Kenya’s Lionesses, who were finalists in last year’s edition, head into the tournament full of confidence after winning the Safari 7s earlier this month.
Uganda, who reached the Safari 7s final, will also be keen to build on their impressive form, while Tunisia, another side that featured at the Safari 7s, will be eyeing a strong outing in Nairobi.
Mauritius, on the other hand, have been fine-tuning their preparations and will be at the Run Sevens Women’s Tournament in Réunion Island this weekend, aiming to sharpen up before their continental test.
