JKUAT Cougars had a dream start to their Impala Floodlit campaign after thrashing hosts Impala Swaras 44-0 in a one-sided quarterfinal clash played at RFUEA Grounds.
The Juja-based side were dominant from the onset, running in 20 unanswered points in the first half through three tries, a penalty, and a conversion to head into the break with a comfortable 20-0 lead.
In the second half, the Cougars maintained their intensity, adding 24 more points to seal an emphatic win and book their place in the semi-finals for the second consecutive year, having also featured in the 2024 edition.

Their victory sees them join KRU Championship side Zetech University wjo won 50-19 againts in the last four.
Also through to the semi-finals are USIU Martials, who edged last year’s finalists Kabete Stallions 28-25 in extra time, and Daystar Falcons, who claimed a 20-13 win over Mean Machine to earn another semi-final appearance.
