The reimagined HSBC SVNS features six regular season events, each hosting eight men’s and eight women’s teams competing over two days, ensuring more top-tier clashes and a fast-paced, fan-friendly format.

World Rugby Chief Executive Alan Gilpin said:
“The HSBC SVNS is back! Dubai is the perfect kick-off for the new-look series, featuring the world’s top teams, biggest stars, and more best-versus-best matches over two days. With a runway through to the LA 2028 Olympic Games, some of the biggest names from the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 will be in action, connecting fans even closer to the stars who continue to inspire a new generation.”
Festival Director Mathew Tait added:“With many Women’s Rugby World Cup stars returning to the HSBC SVNS stage, this year’s Emirates Dubai 7s will showcase world-class talent. Dubai sets the tone for the global series, and fans can expect thrilling rugby, incredible music, and an unmatched atmosphere.”
Beyond the elite rugby action, the Emirates Dubai 7s remains the Middle East’s largest sports and entertainment festival. The event will also feature cricket presented by Dulsco Group, netball presented by Dubai Holding Community Management, Rebound Padel, and the WODON3 fitness competition — which will debut a new ‘Super Social’ category.
Off the pitch, the entertainment lineup includes performances by Tinie Tempah, Sean Paul, and Shaggy on Saturday, with superstar DJs EZ and FISHER closing the festival on Sunday.
