RAW 7s
Kenya was announced in September as the host nation for the 2025 Rugby Africa Women’s 7s, set for 14–17 November 2025, with ticket details expected to be released soon. Preparations are already underway, with several teams stepping up their training. The Kenya Lionesses, Tunisia, and Uganda used the Safari 7s as part of their build-up to the continental showpiece.

In 2024, South Africa retained their title after overcoming a resilient Kenya Lionesses side 19–10 in the final held in Ghana. That win mirrored the 2023 final, where the Springbok Women edged Kenya 12–7 to secure Olympic qualification for the first time in their history.
Heading into last year’s decider, both South Africa and Kenya had gone unbeaten, with the South Africans particularly dominant—winning their first five matches without conceding a single point.
