The stage is set for an exciting semifinal lineup at the 2025 Safari 7s, with Shujaa, Zimbabwe, Morans, and Shogun all advancing after dominant and hard-fought quarterfinal wins at Nyayo National Stadium on Sunday morning.

Morans Edge UK Select in Safari 7s Thriller

Kenya Morans battled past UK Select 21–19 in a tense encounter.

David Nyangige opened the scoring after a quick tap-and-go, with the conversion good for 7–0.

Rayvone Ambale then finished off an Elvis Olukusi offload and converted his own try for a 14–0 halftime lead.

UK Select fought back strongly in the second half, as Finn Loyd Gilmour and Marcus Kershaw each crossed to level the scores at 14–14.

A yellow card to Kershaw gave Morans the upper hand, and Victor Mola Odhiambo sprinted down the right wing for a converted try to make it 21–14.

Despite a late unconverted try from Tom Burton, the Morans held on to secure their semifinal spot.

Zimbabwe Overturn KCB to Advance in Safari 7s

Zimbabwe stunned KCB with a 19–10 comeback win.

Bramwel Kilwake and Jeankins Kipruto gave KCB a 10–0 halftime lead, but the Zimbabweans rallied after the break.

Tapiwa Malenga scored to make it 10–5 before Trevor Gurwe broke through to score and convert for a 12–10 lead.

A quick move through the backs saw Manyakara touch down, with Gurwe’s conversion sealing the 19–10 victory and Zimbabwe’s place in the semifinals.

Abukuse added another center-post try early in the second half, converting it himself for a 21-0 lead.

Floyd Wabwire then spotted a gap in Nyati’s defence and sped past to score, though Amaitsa’s conversion attempt failed, making it 26-0.
