Uganda National 7s champions Walukuba Barbarians have named their squad for the Safari 7s, set to take place this weekend at Nyayo Stadium in Nairobi.
The Barbarians, who made history by becoming only the sixth team to win the Uganda National 7s title, enjoyed a remarkable season marked by the impressive performances of their young players.
Their success has seen three key players Shakim Ssembusi, Ivan Bulima, and Gift Wokorach earn call-ups to the Uganda national 7s team for the same tournament.
Bulima was widely regarded as the Most Valuable Player of the circuit, while Wokorach finished as the second top scorer.
