Zetech Oaks, KU Blak Blad, Makueni RFC, and KCA University maintained a perfect record on day one of the Dala 7s Division Two, booking their spots in the Main Cup quarterfinals after winning all their group matches.
The four sides showed dominance throughout the opening day at the Kisumu Polytechnic Grounds as the race for the National 7s Circuit title heats up.
Dala 7s date
Of particular interest will be the clash between Makueni RFC and NYS Spades in the quarterfinals.
NYS Spades currently sit on 75 points while Makueni follow closely with 62 points in the overall circuit standings.
A victory for NYS Spades would effectively secure the Division Two title, as the minimum points they can accumulate after reaching the semifinals would be 90 points.
On the other hand, Makueni RFC must win the Dala 7s and hope that NYS Spades finish sixth or lower to stand a chance of being crowned champions.
