Menengai Oilers 7s coach Geoffrey Ominde has announced his final squad for the Kabeberi 7s tournament set for RFUEA Grounds this weekend.
The squad sees the introduction of Chrispine Shitundo, who is set for his first 7s appearance of the season after last featuring in the Enterprise Cup final.
Menengai Oilers changes
Clarkson Keegan, Fortune Arturo, Samuel Ovwamu, Calvin Mulewa, and Kelvin Chebet miss out, paving the way for Shitundo, as well as the return of Dennis Abukuse, Amos Onyinkwa, and Beldad Ogeta.
Daniel Kipchirchir, who has been a consistent figure this season, retains his place in the squad alongside Brian Achacha, Nelson Makokha, Eric Ogutu, and Lucky Onyango.

Captaincy duties fall to John Okoth, with his brother Philip Okeyo serving as co-assistant captain alongside Shitundo.
Oilers, who were finalists in the 2024 edition of Kabeberi 7s, will be looking to go one better this time. They have been drawn in a competitive pool alongside Kabras RFC, Embu RFC, and Kisumu RFC.
