St Peters Mumias have ended a nine-year wait to reclaim the FEASSSA Rugby 7s title after going unbeaten in the matches played at the Bull Ring.
The Saints, who made history in 2016 as the first Kenyan side to win the FEASSSA 7s title, have now become the first team to lift the crown twice.

To seal the championship, St Peter’s secured a commanding 31-0 win over Makerere, were awarded a 12-7 victory against Koyonzo, and edged Bungoma High on point differential after both sides finished level on points.

Bungoma wrapped up their campaign with a resounding 47-0 win over Makerere but were forced to settle for second place.
Elsewhere, Bwake and Koyonzo also registered big wins in their fixtures.
The Rugby 15s competition will take a break on Wednesday before resuming on Thursday to decide the champions.
