Daystar Falcons and Impala reached the Cup quarterfinals for the first time this season after finishing second in their respective pools.

KCB Rugby and Menengai Oilers were the only sides to qualify for the quarters with a 100% win record, while Kabras RFC missed out on Cup contention.

Strathmore Leos edged Kenya Harlequin 26-24 in a thriller that wrapped up Pool A action. Both sides scored four tries, but the conversion proved to be the difference.

Victor Odhiambo, Nygel Amaitsa, and Stanslaus Shikoli gave the Prinsloo 7s champions what looked like a comfortable lead. The hosts Quins fought back through Albert Alela and Charles Kinyanjui before Gabriel Ayimba added a crucial converted try.

Despite late tries from Collins Kibet and Michael Ochieng, Strathmore Leos held on for the win.

Three sides, Kenya Harlequin, Strathmore Leos, and Zetech, ended their pool campaign with seven points each.
