Walukuba Barbarians have maintained their position at the top of the Uganda 7s Series standings after two rounds of the 2025 campaign, which now heads into its third weekend.
The Barbarians have had an impressive start to the season, winning the opening round at the Coronation 7s and finishing second in the second leg in Gulu. They have amassed 41 points from their two final appearances.
Buffaloes RFC sit second on the log after their triumph over the weekend. The Buffaloes ended an eight-year title drought by winning the Gulu 7s with a hard-fought 5-0 victory over Walukuba Barbarians in the men’s final at Pece War Memorial Stadium. Their last circuit title had come in 2017.

Rhinos are third with 32 points, while Heathens and Mongers are tied on 27 points each. Pirates and KOBS follow closely with 23 points apiece, and Eagles have 19 points.
Rams are ninth with 18 points, Hippos have 12 points, Elgon Wolves are on 10 points, and Gulu City Falcons sit at the bottom with six points.
