The Women’s National 7s Circuit kicked off over the weekend with eight teams competing in the opening leg held at Nakuru Athletic Club during the Prinsloo 7s.
Mwamba RFC top the standings after securing a hard-fought 15-10 victory over Kenya Harlequin Queens in the final, earning maximum points (22) to lead the log after the first round of the 2025 campaign.
Kenya Harlequin sit second with 19 points following their runner-up finish, while Impala RFC occupy third place with 17 points after securing a podium finish.
Northern Suburbs are fourth on the table with 15 points, closely followed by Nakuru RFC who garnered 13 points in their home tournament.

NYS have 12 points, while Ruck It and Kisii Polytechnic each picked up 10 points to round off the standings after the opening leg.
The women’s competition now heads into the next round, with teams aiming to build on their starts and gain early momentum in the race for the circuit title.
