The standout players and teams from the second leg of the National 7s Circuit, Prinsloo 7s, were feted following the conclusion of the tournament at Nakuru Athletic Club.
Victor Mola Odhiambo of Strathmore Leos was named Player of the Final after an outstanding performance that saw him score a brace in their 24-7 victory over KCB Rugby to help Leos retain the Prinsloo 7s title. For his efforts, Mola walked away with a cash prize of Ksh 10,000.
Prinsloo 7s clean sweep
Mola had a tournament to remember, completing a clean sweep of the individual awards in the top division. He finished as the Top Try Scorer with eight tries and also claimed the Top Points Scorer title with 40 points.
He becomes the second player this season to achieve such a feat, following Floyd Wabwire’s performance in the previous leg.

In Division II, Elvis Otete of Blak Blad replicated the clean sweep, scoring in the final and emerging as the Player of the Final, Top Try Scorer, and Top Points Scorer. His performance was instrumental in Blak Blad’s title win.
In the ladies’ category, Edith Nariaka shone brightly, scoring a hat-trick in the final to lead Mwamba to victory. Her impressive outing earned her the Player of the Final award.
