The National 7s Circuit commenced over the weekend at the Mombasa Sports Club, with KCB Rugby being crowned champions.
KCB Rugby scooped the 2025 Driftwood 7s after a narrow 15-14 victory over Strathmore Leos and have now moved to 22 points after going unbeaten in Mombasa to reclaim the title last won in 2019.
National 7s Circuit leaders
The Thika Road-based side have now won four times at the coast, with previous success coming in 2012, 2013, and 2019.
Strathmore Leos, who only lost one game in the entire competition and settled for the second spot, have now collected 19 points heading to Nakuru.
Kabras RFC are third on the log with 17 points after settling for third place in Mombasa. Kabras RFC finished third after defeating Nakuru RFC 21-10.

Heading to their home tournament, Nakuru RFC have 15 points in the bag, while Menengai Oilers have collected 13 points after a fifth-place finish.
Defending champions Kenya Harlequin have 12 points while Nondies and MMUST are tied on 10 points each following the fifth-place semi-final losses.
Catholic Monks’ 25-0 win over Kabete Stallions in the Challenge Trophy leaves them with nine points, while Stallions have seven points.
Impala and Daystar are tied on five points, with Blak Blad having three points. Kabarak have two points, while Mombasa and Mwamba RFC have a point each.
