Algeria knocked out Cote de Ivoire in the ongoing Rugby Africa Cup tournament after they defeated the West Africans 41-6 in a match staged at Namboole Stadium.
After missing two penalty goal attempts early in the game, Algeria would finally got in the scoresheet through a penalty goal.

Algeria would get on the scoreboard again eight minutes later after their outside center grounded the ball off a brilliant back line move. Conversion attempt was a unsuccessful.

Yassin Butemani would land the final blow to the Ivorians when he went over for a try on the back of a rolling maul. Julian Caminati would convert the try to win the game 42-6.
Algeria will face the winner between Namibia and Senegal game in the semis.
