Viory, the video news agency focused on the Global South, has deepened its presence across Africa and the Arab-speaking world through new strategic partnerships.
During the 25th Arab Radio and Television Festival in Tunisia—organized by the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU)—Viory signed Memoranda of Cooperation (MoC) with two influential media bodies: Agence Tunis Afrique Presse (TAP) and the O.I.C States Broadcasting Union (OSBU). These collaborations underscore Viory’s mission to foster stronger ties between Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and the wider Global South.
TAP and OSBU are key players in shaping regional media development across the Middle East and Africa. Viory’s agreements with these institutions aim to bolster cooperation in content exchange, technology integration, and cross-border collaboration—advancing shared growth and mutual understanding in the media space.
The partnership with TAP will facilitate joint initiatives, promote technological innovation, and support content sharing between the agencies. This cooperation also provides Viory with deeper insights into local cultures and markets, ensuring its content is both relevant and resonant. Additionally, the agreement opens channels for knowledge exchange, contributing to the elevation of journalistic standards in a fast-evolving digital landscape.
Viory’s partnership with OSBU—an umbrella organization representing broadcasters from O.I.C member states—marks a significant step in extending its network. Through this collaboration, Viory gains access to a broad media network that supports large-scale content exchange and fosters regional cooperation.
“These partnerships with TAP and OSBU mark a significant milestone in our outreach across the Arab world, Africa, and beyond,” said Zulayho Siddikova, General Manager of Viory. “Following our successful agreement with the Ethiopian Broadcasting Corporation, these new MoUs reaffirm our dedication to creating a robust network of media allies throughout the Global South.”
“We look forward to leveraging these collaborations to deliver high-quality, culturally attuned content while empowering local media and connecting communities across borders,” she added.
Together, these partnerships signal Viory’s rising influence as a connector in the Global South’s dynamic media environment—championing cross-cultural dialogue and collaboration in a multilingual, interconnected world.
