Ngong Road Forest Association Chief Scout John Mbugua welcomed the team back:

“We’re delighted to have Kenya Harlequins return for a second year. They are not just planting trees—they are nurturing them. That’s why we consider them tree growers, not just planters. We urge other local organizations to join us in safeguarding this vital forest.”

In total, 59 indigenous trees were planted to symbolize the upcoming 59th edition of the Christie 7s tournament, which will take place at RFUEA Grounds from August 15th to 17th, 2025.

The tournament will feature 816 players across 68 teams competing over three thrilling days as part of the Kenya Rugby National Sevens Circuit.
