Kenya 7s playmaker Jackson Siketi has been named the Young Player of the Tournament at the 2025 Africa Men’s 7s held in Mauritius.
At just 18 years old, Siketi made a strong impression during the two-day event, showcasing impressive displays.

Representing the Kenya Morans, he scored two tries and successfully slotted several conversions, playing a pivotal role in the team’s campaign.
He was recognized alongside another emerging talent, 19-year-old Ranaivoarison Mamy Herilala from Madagascar, who was named the Player of the Tournament following his outstanding performances that helped his side reach the final.

Uganda’s Malcolm Oketch walked away with the Top Points Scorer award, having been instrumental in his team’s scoring efforts throughout the tournament.
Meanwhile, Burkina Faso were honoured with the Fair Play Award, recognizing their discipline and sportsmanship on and off the field.
South Africa A capped off the tournament by being crowned the 2025 Africa Men’s 7s Champions after a commanding 28-12 victory over Madagascar in the final.
