Kenya’s rugby coaching landscape continues to flourish with the latest achievement by Michael Kimemia, who has successfully attained his World Rugby Level 2 (15s) coaching accreditation.
His milestone marks another step forward in enhancing the technical standards and depth of coaching expertise within the country.
Kimemia’s accreditation comes alongside that of Godffrey Otieno and Stephen Oneal, who were also certified on May 8, 2025.

Kisii RFC’s Lee Arstone also attained his Level 2 certification on May 6, 2025, further expanding the talent pool of accredited coaches across the nation.
Earlier in March, renowned Kenyan international rugby player and coach Mercy Migongo added to the momentum by achieving her World Rugby Level 2 (15s) coaching accreditation, underscoring a nationwide movement toward raising coaching standards and professionalism in Kenyan rugby.
