The Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) has announced the schedule for the upcoming national trials for Under 18 and Under 16, which are set to run across various regions in the month of July.
The trials are aimed to scout and develop talent in preparation for the 2026 Youth Olympics in Senegal.
The Under 18 trials will focus on the 15s format, while the Under 16 players will be tested in the sevens format. Both categories aim to identify and nurture young talent capable of representing Kenya on the global stage.
The trials will kick off on 6th and 7th July in the Central Region at Kagumo High School, before heading to Kakamega High School for the Western Region trials on 11th and 12th July.

The Rift Valley Region will host its trials at Kabianga High School on 13th and 14th July, followed by Nyanza Region at Kisii High School on 15th and 16th July.
Nairobi Region trials will take place on 18th and 19th July at the RFUEA Grounds, with the Eastern Region trials scheduled for 20th and 21st July at Machakos School.
The final leg of the trials will be held on 24th and 25th July in the Coast Region, at Shimo la Tewa High School.
