The pools and fixtures for this year’s edition of the KSSSA Trans-Nzoia County rugby 7s have been released ahead of the competition scheduled to take place from Thursday, June 19, 2025, at the St. Patrick’s Makunga Grounds.
Twelve boys’ teams have been grouped into four pools, with defending champions Bwake Boys aiming to retain their county title and replicate the form that led them to clinch the 2024 KSSSA Nationals 7s crown.
In the boys’ category, Pool A features Lunyu Secondary, Mubere Secondary, and St. Anthony’s Boys High School. Pool B includes Sinoko Secondary, Kabuyefwe Secondary, and Matubei Secondary.
Pool C comprises St. Joseph’s Boys, Makunga High School, and Kapsara Secondary, while Pool D lineup has Friends School Bwake, Maziwa Secondary, and Rafiki Secondary.

The competition will also feature girls’ rugby 7s category, which will be played concurrently at the same venue. Among the teams expected to make headlines is St. Joseph’s Girls Kitale, the reigning 2024 KSSSA National Girls’ 7s champions.
Matches will alternate between boys’ and girls’ games throughout the day with Girls’ Matches also set to be held at the same venue – St. Patrick’s Makunga.
