Kenya 7s star Kevin Wekesa scored a brace as Hyderabad Heroes thrashed Bengaluru Bravehearts 43-7 in the Rugby Premier League clash held at Shahaji Sports Complex in Mumbai, India.
The Kabras RFC forward now has three tries in two appearances. He nearly opened the scoring straight from kickoff but was penalized for holding on after being tackled to the ground.

Bengaluru Bravehearts, who feature Ugandan international Philip Wokorach, were reduced to 14 men after a red card in the second minute, a moment that proved pivotal as Hyderabad capitalized on the numerical advantage.
Joji Nasova opened the scoring by exploiting a gap on the right wing. Wekesa then showcased his trademark power, fending off a defender before breaking down the right flank to stretch the lead to 10-0. Terio Tamani added the extras for a 12-0 scoreline.

Sumit Roy crossed under the posts to extend the lead, and Wekesa added his second try after latching onto an offload from Nasova, bringing the score to 24-0.
Javed Hussein, Nasova (with his second), and Wolfram Hacker added further tries to complete the dominant win for Hyderabad.
In another match, Patrick Odongo’s side, Delhi Redz, are still winless in the competition following a 21-7 defeat to Chennai Bulls.
