Kenya Morans head coach Louis Kisia has named his final squad for the Rugby Africa Men’s Sevens 2025, set to take place at Labourdonnais Sports Club in Mauritius on June 21–22.
The squad features four debutants, including Nakuru RFC forward Felix Okoth and Philip Okeyo, who had been linked with a move to Impala earlier this year. Also earning their first call-ups are Javan Otieno and Matoka Matoka.
Kenya Morans pick Siketi
Youngster Jackson Siketi has been included in the squad, while Lamech Ambetsa returns after missing the World 7s Series campaign due to an ankle injury.
Chrissant Ojwang will co-captain the side alongside George Ooro. Other experienced players in the squad include Dennis Abukuse, William Mwanji, Brian Mutua, and Floyd Wabwire.

Kenya Morans have been drawn in Pool A alongside defending champions Uganda, Ivory Coast, and returning side Ghana.
The 2025 edition carries high stakes, with the top two teams, excluding Kenya and South Africa, earning promotion to the HSBC SVNS Division 3.
Last year, the Morans finished sixth after a mixed performance in the two-legged 2024 edition, also hosted at Labourdonnais Sports Club. The tournament ran over two weekends, June 29–30 and July 6–7, and featured 12 teams, with Uganda emerging as overall winners under a series-based ranking system.
