Kenya Cup side Kenya Harlequin will hold open trials on Saturday, June 13, 2025, as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2025/26 season.
According to a statement from the Ngong Road-based club, the trials will begin at 10:00 AM and take place at the RFUEA Grounds.

“Are you ready to dominate the pitch with skill, grit, and unyielding passion? We’re calling all warriors aged 18 and above to join our legacy of excellence. Bring your talent, sharpen your mind, and claim your place among the elite,” the club announced.
The trials come just weeks after Quins unveiled their technical bench for the upcoming season, which will be led by newly appointed Head Coach Patrice Agunda.

Simon Odongo has been named Deputy Head Coach and will also oversee the Sevens and 15s Defence. Former KCB Rugby strength and conditioning coach Michael Shamiah joins in the same role, while ex-Kenya 7s star Willy Ambaka comes on board as an additional Strength and Conditioning Coach.
Veteran fly-half Eden Agero will serve as Assistant Coach in charge of Skills and Attack, while Brian Oyiengo joins the staff to focus on development squads and women’s rugby. Kenyan international Sheila Chajira has been appointed as Head Coach of the Women’s Team.
The physiotherapy unit will be led by Gerald Omondi, supported by Kate Muisyo and Kennedy Barua.
On the management side, Wayne Mungei takes over as General Team Manager, with Christeve Wangila named as Women’s Team Manager.
The 12-member technical bench includes eight returnees from the previous management and boasts nine individuals with senior international experience. All members have held coaching or management roles in the Kenya Cup.
