Nelson Mandela Stadium to host Rugby Africa Cup once again as Nations battle for RWC 2027

The Rugby Africa Cup 2025 will once again be hosted at Nelson Mandela Stadium in Uganda, as top African teams battle for a place at the 2027 Rugby World Cup.

The tournament is now confirmed to run from July 8 to 19, 2025, kicking off with the Cup quarter-finals.

In the quarter-final fixtures, defending champions Zimbabwe Sables will take on Morocco, while Kenya Simbas face regional rivals Uganda Rugby Cranes.

Algeria are set to play against Ivory Coast, as former champions Namibia clash with Senegal.

The winners will progress to the semi-finals and eventually the final, where the champion will secure a direct ticket to the 2027 Rugby World Cup.

The runner-up will proceed to the final qualification tournament in Dubai.
