This announcement follows the club’s recent Annual General Meeting (AGM), where new leadership was elected to guide Makueni Ravens RFC into the future. Jay Mwarabu Mwachiro was elected Chairperson while Paul Muli Muteti took over as Team Manager.

Makueni rugby concluded their 2024/2025 15s season with a hard-fought campaign, finishing second in the Nairobi Nationwide Community Clubs category with 47 points from 12 matches having 10 wins and 2 losses they then narrowly missed advancing in the Championship qualifiers, falling 19–7 to Kenya Prisons in the pre-quarterfinal stage.

Despite this setback, the club remains optimistic and focused on building a stronger squad under the renewed leadership structure.
