The 2025 Nile Special Uganda Women’s Rugby Premiership is set for a thrilling conclusion this Saturday, May 17, with a grand finale at Kyadondo Rugby Club.

The Uganda Rugby Union (URU) Technical Committee and all women’s club heads agreed to hold the final match day at a single venue, aiming to give the season a fitting close and celebrate the remarkable strides made in women’s rugby.

TITLE DECIDER CLASH

The day will feature three matches with the headline clash being the title decider between defending champions Black Pearls and closest challengers Thunderbirds scheduled for 3:00 PM.

Black Pearls currently lead the standings by five points and need a win to secure the championship. However, Thunderbirds, who have steadily closed the gap week after week, will be pushing for a result that could turn the title race in their favour.
