The 2025 Enterprise Cup final will see Kabras RFC take on Menengai Oilers at the Nakuru ASK Showground on Saturday, April 26, organizers have confirmed.

This year’s final marks a shift from the traditional RFUEA Grounds, which has hosted the event in previous years. The venue change was necessitated by the unavailability of the RFUEA Grounds.

“15s rugby continues this week with the second #RaiDerby of the longer version. All roads lead to the ASK Showgrounds in Nakuru for the #EnterpriseCupFinal,” the Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) announced.

It will be the first-ever Enterprise Cup final meeting between Kabras RFC and Menengai Oilers. However, it will be their third consecutive encounter in as many weekends.

The two sides recently faced off in the Kenya Cup final, where Kabras edged Oilers 27-26 to retain their crown. A week later, the Oilers responded with a 15-0 win over Kabras in the Great Rift 10s, claiming their first title in the tournament since 2019.

Menengai Oilers booked their maiden Enterprise Cup final spot after a dominant 41-10 victory over Nondies RFC in the semifinals held at the Nakuru Showground in March.

Kabras RFC secured their place in the final with a hard-fought 25-21 win over KCB Rugby at the Kakamega Showgrounds. It was their fourth consecutive Enterprise Cup victory over KCB.

The Sugarmen, unbeaten in the competition since April 28, 2018—when they lost to Impala in the semifinals—are now set for their fifth straight appearance in the final. This year’s semifinal marked the first Enterprise Cup knockout clash between Kabras and KCB, with Kabras having won the last three finals against the bankers.
