The stage is set for the Betika BingwaFest 10s Grand Finale following an action-packed semifinal round held at Kisumu Polytechnic.
The highly anticipated finals, scheduled for the Mamboleo Grounds on Sunday morning, will feature a showdown between Homeboyz and Equator in the men’s category, while Kinale Forest will face off against Hunters Hill in the women’s final.

In the third-place playoffs, Kisii University will clash with Daystar Falcons, while in the women’s bracket, Blad Babes will take on Eastlands Community.
On Day Two, Homeboyz delivered a dominant performance, blanking Winam 15-0 in the quarterfinals before edging out Kisii University 17-7 in a hard-fought semifinal.
Equator booked their spot in the final by first dispatching Shamberere 12-5, then outclassing Daystar Falcons 10-0 in the semis.
In the women’s division, Kinale Forest continued their impressive form, comfortably beating Pioneer Academy and later powering past Blad Babes with a resounding 31-5 victory.
Hunters Hill sealed their place in the final with a dramatic late try to edge Eastlands Community 12-7 in a nail-biting semifinal.

Launched in 2024, the Betika BingwaFest 10s tournament brings together regional champions and runners-up from across the country to compete for national supremacy. Beyond the prestige, the stakes are high — previous regional champions took home Ksh 1,000,000.
For this Grand Finale, the winning team will walk away with a grand prize of Ksh 2.5 million. Individual brilliance will also be rewarded, with the Most Valuable Player, Top Try Scorer, and Top Points Scorer each set to receive Ksh 50,000.
