Menengai Oilers have named their squad for the 2024 Great Rift 10s tournament set for Saturday and Sunday at the Nakuru Athletic Club.
The team heads into the competition on the back of their historic Eric Shirley Shield title win a foretnight ago and will be eager to carry that momentum into the tournament. They aim to emulate the 2019 squad, which secured the club’s first major trophy at the same event.

The squad includes Kenya Simbas winger Beldad Ogeta, who missed out on last weekend’s Kenya Cup 23-man squad. He is joined by Eric Ogutu, whose decisive kicking sealed Oilers’ victory over KCB Rugby in ESS.
Also in the squad are speedster Alvin Khavoli, forwards Calvin Malewa, Emmanuel Mulindo, Paywick Munoko, Erick Omanga, and Argwings Owino, as well as backs Antony Owino and Stephen Arunga. The side will once again be captained by Tony Oketch.
