The 2024/25 Kenya Cup semi-finals are set for Saturday, March 29, with four top sides battling for a place in the final.
Defending champions Kabras RFC, record winners Nondies, seven-time champions KCB Rugby, and the ever-consistent Menengai Oilers will all be in action as the race for the title heats up.
Kabras RFC vs Nondies – Kakamega Showground
Reigning champions Kabras RFC are once again the team to beat. After topping the regular-season standings, they secured a direct semi-final spot for the sixth consecutive year.
The sugarmen, unbeaten in over three seasons, will host Nondies at Kakamega Showground, aiming to continue their dominance on home turf.
Nondies, Kenya Cup’s most successful club, have made an impressive return to the top flight, reaching the semis for a second straight season.
They punched their ticket to the last four with a commanding 38-22 win over Kenya Harlequin in the playoffs, completing a season double over their old rivals.
Under Calum Oliver, Nondies have now beaten Quins four times in a row since their promotion, proving they are back to challenge for silverware.
KCB Rugby vs Menengai Oilers – KCB Sports Club
The second semi-final will be a clash of powerhouses as KCB Rugby take on Menengai Oilers at KCB Sports Club in Ruaraka.
The Bankers, aiming to reclaim the title they last won in 2021, finished second on the log for the sixth straight season, securing an automatic semi-final berth.
Meanwhile, Menengai Oilers extended their remarkable consistency by reaching their fifth consecutive semi-final.

They edged past a resilient Blak Blad in the playoffs at Nakuru ASK Grounds, keeping their title hopes alive.
Since their promotion, the Oilers have become one of the league’s most competitive sides, missing out on the semis only in their debut seasons.
