The 2024/2025 Kenya Cup Women’s playoffs are scheduled for this weekend, Saturday, March 22, 2025, following an exciting conclusion to the regular season, setting stage for some thrilling matchups.
In the first playoff fixture, NYS Ladies will take on Rongo University, while Northern Suburbs will face Impala RFC in the other matchup.
The winners of these games will advance to the semifinals, where they will meet the league’s top two teams – Mwamba RFC and Kenya Harlequins.
Mwamba RFC finished the regular season as the team to beat, securing the top spot with 17 points after winning three of their four matches and achieving an impressive point difference of +148.
In their debut season, Kenya Harlequins claimed second place with 13 points, having won two matches and maintaining a solid point difference of +35. Both teams earned direct semifinal spots and are now poised to await their playoff challengers.

Northern Suburbs and Impala RFC concluded the regular season with identical records, each securing two wins and two losses. However, Northern Suburbs edged ahead with a better point difference of +19, finishing third, while Impala RFC landed in sixth place with -46.
Their upcoming playoff match promises to be closely contested as both teams vie for a semifinal showdown with Kenya Harlequins.
NYS Ladies, who finished fourth, faced challenges defensively throughout the season, recording a point difference of -133.
They will compete against Rongo University, which played only one match and accumulated five points to earn a playoff spot. The winner of this clash will face table-toppers Mwamba RFC in the semifinals.
