Bungoma High defend County title with dominant win over Kamusinde

Bungoma High School successfully defended their Bungoma County rugby title after a commanding victory over Kamusinde in the final.

Before reaching the final, Bungoma faced their longtime rivals Kimobo in the semifinals—a repeat of last year’s county final. With a win in this encounter, Bungoma secured back-to-back victories over Kimobo.

Bungoma stood out as the best defensive team in the tournament, conceding only 21 points throughout the competition.

Their journey to the final was relatively smooth. In the quarterfinals, they hammered Teremi Boys 49-3 before setting up a semifinal clash against Kimobo. Although the match was highly anticipated, Bungoma proved their dominance with a 25-13 victory, eliminating Kimobo from regional championship qualification.
