The Uganda National Rugby 7s team has officially unveiled its squad for the highly anticipated 2025 World Rugby Challenger Series.
The 2025 HSBC World Rugby 7s Challenger Series will kick off on March 1-2 in Cape Town, South Africa.
The team, coached by Tolbert Onyango and managed by Michael Wandera, is set to compete against top opposition as they aim for a place in the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series.
The squad comprises a blend of experienced players and promising new talents who will don the national colors on the global stage.
Among the key players leading the charge are Tukei Aaron, Alex Aturinda, Allan Amaire Karuhanga, Kamiza Ndoboli Jones, and Roy Bartholomew Kizito.
The team also boasts the presence of Arnold Jones Ocen and Karim Arinaitwe, both of whom are expected to make a significant impact.
The reserves for the squad include Stuart Michael Mwayi, Aina Humphrey Ndahura, Julius Opio, and Thomas Arthur Opio, who will provide depth and support throughout the tournament.

Uganda will aim for a good journey in the 2025 World Rugby Challenger Series with hopes high that the team can secure a top finish and earn a spot in the HSBC Sevens Series.
Uganda has participated in the 7s Challenger since the series was introduced in 2020. In each of the past four editions, the Rugby Cranes 7s have only flown as high as the quarterfinals.
