Promising Kabras RFC fullback Jackson Siketi has been invited to join the Rhinos High-Performance Camp in Gordon’s Bay, South Africa, the Kenya Rugby Union has announced.
The former Koyonzo High School standout, impressed during the National 7s Circuit, has scored three tries in just two Kenya Cup appearances following his senior debut.

Siketi will join the camp alongside former teammate David Willias, who currently plays for Kisumu RFC and was part of the Kenya Harlequins squad that won the National 7s Circuit while on loan.
Andrew Matoka, a former Kenya U20 and Kenya Simbas back, and Dennis Ndayala of Mwamba RFC (Chipu/Kenya Morans) are set to participate in the 2025 Rhinos High-Performance Camp in Cape Town, South Africa.
The camp, which runs from January to May 2025. Kenyan player who have featured in the Rhinos program in SA include James Olela Otiko, Jacktone Osoo from Kabras, Amon Wamalwa Quins , as well as Menengai Oilers’ James Asanga, all of whom were part of the program in 2024.

Speaking about the invitations, Kenya 7s head coach Kevin Wambua highlighted the importance of the Rhinos’ High-Performance Program in nurturing talent for the Shujaa player development pathway.
“I wish the young lads all the best during their stay at Gordon’s Bay. We hope to have them back in our program as better athletes—not only physically but also with improved sevens rugby IQ,” Wambua stated.

Frankie Horne, the South African 7s legend and head coach of the Rhinos’ 7s High-Performance Program, reiterated the Rhinos’ commitment to developing Kenyan talent.
“We have always been keen to assist Kenya in achieving their athletes’ potential. This is why we consistently provide opportunities for Kenyan boys and girls in national team pathways to join our High-Performance Programs in both Gordon’s Bay, South Africa, and San Clemente, LA,” Horne commented.
