The KRU Championship entered its seventh week over the weekend, with only two teams maintaining their unbeaten streaks in the second-tier competition.
MMUST solidified their dominance by defeating one of their closest challengers, Daystar Falcons, to secure their seventh consecutive win of the season. The victory moved MMUST to 33 points, though it marked the second week in a row that they failed to earn a winning bonus point.

Catholic Monks remain hot on MMUST’s heels, having also won all seven matches. They have amassed 32 points and are well-positioned to secure a direct home semi-final spot alongside MMUST.
Daystar Falcons, who suffered their first loss of the season to MMUST, now sit on 29 points. This puts them three points behind the direct semi-final bracket despite their impressive six wins so far.
Zetech Oaks are on track to finish in the top six for the first time in their history. With six wins under their belt, they now have 27 points, just one point ahead of Homeboyz, who are on 26 points.
