KCB Rugby extended their unbeaten run in the Kenya Cup with a 34-5 win over Nakuru RFC at Ruaraka Grounds on Saturday, January 18.

The result marked a fifth straight defeat for Nakuru. KCB hit the ground running, with captain Jacob Ojee opening the scoring in the 9th minute after a well-timed attacking play. The conversion narrowly missed, leaving the score at 5-0.

Despite moments of sloppy handling, the Bankers kept control of the game. Rocky Aguko doubled the lead in the 24th minute, capitalizing on a defensive lapse by Nakuru. Shortly after, Michael Wamalwa added another try to extend the advantage to 15-0.

A yellow card for Manasseh Oduor temporarily slowed KCB’s momentum, but they regrouped quickly. Emmanuel Opondo crossed the line in the 32nd minute, and Isaac Njoroge’s accurate conversion pushed the score to 22-0.
