KCB Rugby run riot against Kisumu RFC to maintain perfect start

KCB Rugby have maintained their lead in 2024/2025 Kenya Cup season after defeating Kisumu RFC 82-3 at Kisumu Polytechnic grounds.

Valentine scored the first penalty for Kisumu RFC a few minutes into the game making the scores 0-3.

Austine Sikutwa did not waste time as he scored a try for KCB making a comeback of 5-3.

Sikutwa added another try which was later backed by four conversions and three tries from Elvis Namusasi, Peter Waitere, Wilhite Mususi and Elvis Olukusi ending the first half with 33-3 lead.

Emmanuel added another try increasing KCB points. Namusasi scored his fifth conversion with Bob Muhati scoring a try bringing the scores to 45-3.

Two tries and three conversions from Namusasi, Muhati, Lionel Ajeliti and Andycole Omolo added up to 61-3 a lead for KCB.

Davis Nyaundi and Griffin Musila came in from the bench each scoring a try with Ajeliti adding two conversions making KCB scores higher than Kisumu’s by 75-3.

KCB added another try Olukusi and Ajeliti converted in the last minutes of the game making the scores 82-3 at fulltime in favor of KCB.
