Nairobi Nationwide Club and Varsity matches commenced on Saturday with eight sides picking maximum points on the season’s opening day.
Makueni lead the club’s zone with five points and a point differential of 65-0. Former KRU Champions side Ngong Warriors are second on the log with five points and a point differential of 57.
Stallions Rugby have a point differential of 43 following a bonus point win and Swara Academy close the top four with five points. Stormers Rugby, Northern Suburbs and Kasarani have four points.
Kulabu, Stingers and Rugby on the Road have a point each in the Nationwide.

For the Nairobi Nationwide Universities category, NYS Spades are top with five points and a point differential of 40 points. The second place has the Administration Police with a point differential of 30 points.

Africa Nazarene University also have a point differential of 28 while KCA University also have a point differential of 22 points and close the top five.
The Kenya Police and Cooperative University have four points each in the competition.
