The Legends have unveiled their squad for the Dubai 7s Veterans Tour, scheduled to take place from November 29 to December 1, 2024.
The team features a mix of recent retirees and rugby stalwarts, promising a formidable display on the international stage. Among the notable inclusions are Edwin Machanje and Darwin Mukidza, the latter now serving as the backs coach at KCB Rugby.
Injera returns
Kenya 7s all-time leading scorer Collins Injera headlines the squad, bringing his wealth of experience and finishing prowess. Joining him are former Shujaa star Benedict Nyambu, Kenya Simbas forwards Wilson Kopondo and Joel Ng’ang’a, Tito Oduk, Mark Dunford, and Francis Ndonga, further strengthening the team.
Adding to the international flavour, former Uganda 7s captain Michael Okorach, Victor Wadia and Stone Luggya are set to feature. The squad also includes Thomas Odera, Felix Osiemo, and Sean Edwards, rounding out a well-balanced lineup.

The team will be captained by the seasoned Eddie Omondi, whose leadership will be pivotal in guiding the side through the tournament.
Former Impala head coach Oscar Osir will oversee the team, bringing a wealth of coaching expertise to the Legends’ campaign.
