Uganda Cranes have announced their squad that will be on duty against the Simbas in the Elgon Cup scheduled for Saturday at RFUEA Grounds.
The Elgon Cup 2024 is set to be played at RFUEA Grounds on Saturday 9 November, 2024 where KCB vs Kenya Harlequins are set to curtain raise.
Uganda Cranes line-up
This year’s lineup has some changes compared to last year’s team. Santos Ssenteza, Jjuko Jude and Kabras RFC tight head prop Asuman Mugerwa will be playing in the front row.
Former Kabras duo Charles Uhuru and Emong Eliphaz will be in the second row. The back row will feature the team Byron Oketayot, Zziwa Moses and Pius Ogena who also played for Kabras RFC.

The scrum-half will be played by Conrad Wanyama as former Kenya Harlequin playmaker Aaron Ofwoyrwoth plays the fly-half. The Centre position will have Eric Mulamula playing alongside Innocent Gwokto.
For the back three, Robin Philip Odrua and Shakim Ssembusi will be the wingers and Joseph Aredo who played for Quins will start as the fullback.
