The Zimbabwe Sables have announced their squad for the upcoming November Test matches in Asia and the Middle East.

Headlining the squad is former Super Rugby star Kyle Godwin, who is eligible to play for Zimbabwe after returning to the country for the first time in 25 years.

Godwin, born in Zimbabwe, moved with his family to Perth, Australia, at a young age and played club rugby for Associates in Western Australia. He made his Super Rugby debut in 2012 with the Western Force, where he played 52 games, won Rookie of the Year, Members’ Most Valuable Player, and received the Nathan Sharpe Medal.

Later, he joined the Brumbies for two seasons, played 24 games, and then returned to the Force after a stint in Ireland with Connacht Rugby, where he played in the Pro14.

He played for Wallabies U20 and made his senior  international debut for the Wallabies against France in 2016.
