Three new faces in KCB Rugby squad for Impala Floodlit, Opaka returns

New KCB Rugby Coach Oliver Mang’eni has revealed his side that will take on Blak Blad in the 2024 Impala Floodlit tournament at the Impala Club grounds on Saturday October 19, 2024.

New signings who have been  included in the squad include Reagan Juma formerly a strathmore Leos player, Ian Omoke formerly Menengai Oilers and Homeboyz player and Davis Nyaundi who joined them from oilers and featured in the National 7s circuit.

Versatile back, William Opaka who was sidelined last season due to a knee injury will be back to the squad, Shujaa’s Samuel Asati has also been included in the squad.

The front row will see the partnership of Patrick Ouko, Nelson Nyandat and Griffin Musila. Brian Munyali will pair with Davis Chenge in the second row.

Omoke is the blindside flanker with Juma being the open side flanker.The number 8 will be assistant Peter Waitere.

At the scrum-half Michael Wanjala takes charge with Smith Muhoya being the fly-half.

The wings will have Ojee on the left and Opaka on the right.
