Heathens have emerged as the most successful team in the Uganda National 7s Series after winning their 12th title this season propelling them to 12 titles in the competition.
They won this year’s Series title after accumulating 127 points. In the early 2000s, they enjoyed a successful run winning five titles in a row from 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2005.
Their run was halted in 2006 but they returned in 2007-2009 before being dethroned in 2010. They got another treble between 2011-2013, and they later had to wait for 11 years for this year’s success.
