Koyonzo High School successfully defended their Western Prescott Cup title after winning all their matches at the competition held at Kakamega Showground on Sunday.
In a closely contested clash, Koyonzo secured a narrow 7-3 victory over 2022 champions and last year’s finalists, Vihiga High School.
Prescott Cup run
This win capped off an impressive unbeaten run for Koyonzo, who also claimed a 28-0 walkover against Chavakali High School and secured victories over Senende and Kakamega School.

They maintained a 100% record on day one, which included a 7-5 win over Kakamega School, but their hopes of reclaiming the title were dashed by their defeat to Koyonzo on day two.
