Details for the 2024 Prescott Cup – Western Region have been announced ahead of the highly anticipated tournament, which takes place annually in all KRU regions across Kenya.

This year, Kabras RFC will host the event at the ASK Kakamega Showground from 5-6 October 2024. The tournament will bring together top schools from the western region to compete in a 15-a-side rugby format.

The best performing teams will advance to join their counterparts from other regions at the national championships in Nairobi.

Aimed at promoting the growth of rugby, the Prescott Cup provides a valuable opportunity for schools to prepare for the upcoming 2025 championship.

“The Prescott Cup is an annual 15-a-side rugby tournament that highlights the best school teams in each KRU region, creating a platform to sharpen their skills ahead of the school championships,” said KRU Development Officer Matayo Mwenesi in an official letter.
